Day #1064 - Stay Strong, Stay Positive


It's Week 2 of Circuit Breaker (CB) Period!
Another 3 weeks to go.
Juggling between baby, work, and quality time with Dearest at home.

All for the hope of being able to stay healthy and free from COVID-19.

Goals of the Day:

  • [Work] Send out email on tasks of Week 2
    • Not Achieved
  • [Personal] Try video solution for 3 questions
    • Not Achieved
It was a tough day at home for Day 3 of sleep training for Bun.
Stressful for Dearest and I.
And also to deal with the daily things at home.

But, tomorrow will be better!

Things I'm Grateful for Today:
  • Dearest and I working as a team to go through sleep training with Bun
  • Bun still smiling at us after his long crying sessions
  • Being able to cook a nice dinner for Dearest and I

Day #1053 - Admitting Faults


This morning I made a mistake and caused some troubles and negative emotions for Dearest, which she forgave me after.
But I realized that when I made mistakes, thoughts that tried to play down my role in the cause would appear, which I did my best to ignore and focus on my responsibility in the matter.
I do hope I would be wise enough to correct my behaviors for the future!

Goals of the Day:

  • [Work] Stay focus (every day I need to remind myself this, or else I feel I often drift off into lala land)

  • [Financial Blog] Complete the computation of the new addition of savings account
    • Not Achieved (In the midst of trying a new way to compute the interest gained)
  • [Maths Blog] Complete the remaining questions for the paper and upload them as one post

1st completed maths paper 2 uploaded!

Things I'm Grateful for Today:
  • Dearest for not getting mad at me and still take my feelings into consideration for my mistake when she was feeling very frustrated and upset
  • Infant care teachers for duly admitting their fault for yesterday's shitty Bun
  • Bun for being just a joy to both of us

Did household chores today, so didn't manage to do my personal goal of maths blog.

  • A possibility to work from home soon
  • A nice bedsheet to sleep in
  • A great team member, my Dearest, to be with in life
