Day #319 - Holiday; A Fruitful Day

  • Jogging with Dearest to get brunch

  • First substantial cooking with Dearest using the oven

  • Didn't really plan ahead of things
  • Wasted some time during cleaning up to focus on some paint stains that I should have let go

Day #318 - Pre-Good Friday!


Time is precious.
As I live my life, day to day, I realized that time can be lost without me planning ahead much.
This weekend provides a good opportunity for me to do something about it.

Today's Small Wins:

  • Had a good time at my division's sports day! (and won!)
  • Quality time with Dearest (over dinner; using oven + Band of Brothers, and Redmart shopping)
  • Did quite a bit household chores, and cleared some rubbish from the house

  • Still haven't got around to meditating
  • Sleeping late

Day #316 - Scheduling My Priorities


Recently I have been working on auto-pilot or being reactive to things, instead of planning my priorities.
I will start to plan my daily schedule for today!
Dearest have planned out some time schedule for us as a couple too =)

Too ambitious on the time I have for tonight.
The display shelf took up quite a bit of time before dinner.

  • Didn't prioritize office work that needs to be done at home. Had to sleep late because of this.

It's my 5th Spartan Race! Aroo~!

  • Completed my 5th Spartan and managed to complete most of the obstacles
  • Spent a splendid evening with Dearest over dinner + war movie
  • Resolved an issue with Dearest

  • Didn't plan well to travel to Sentosa for the race, and had to get a cab there in the end

Day #309 - Routine. Good or Bad?


There were some quotes that said, "The less ROUTINE, the more LIFE".
I think both quotes work in different situation.

When your routine is not meaningful and doesn't give you satisfaction, then you should be getting out of your routine.
When your routine gives you the motivation to push forward in life, then stick with your routine.

It's what your routine gives you, that you should decided whether to stay in it, or get out of it.

Goals of the Day:
  • Set up a routine of running 2 km everyday after work

  • Be focused and gain clarity at work

Was a bit distracted from work during the afternoon.
But I managed to pull myself back to the work after a while.

Day #305 - Back on Tracks


Sometimes I feel paralyzed when there are a ton of things to do, and I don't feel like doing any of it.
But, Action Breeds Confidence, (or A.B.C.).
So, I shall get down to business.

The days before and after the wedding were hectic enough that I seriously didn't have the energy nor time to update this blog.
But the wedding went on smoothly, even with the few hiccups. haha..
I'm now a married man, and I have a beautiful wife. =)

Goal of the Day:
  • Worked out tasks to be done at work by priorities
    • Achieved
  • Practise good habits (sleep on time, and meditate)
    • Not Achieved
  • Have a good workout at badminton but dont over-exert
    • Achieved
  • Prepare the house for cleaning paint stains by shifting our stuff into the study room/storeroom

  • Allocate quality time with Dearest tonight =)

I'm still trying to set up a routine back at home to sleep on time and meditate.
Planned for a nice evening with Dearest when I got back home, and she also prepared for it.
But plans sort of changed, so we didn't manage to do it.
