Day #1019 - Take Massive, Determined Actions


Nothing can be done if I don't take actions.
Once I get going, things will fall into place.
There will be challenges to overcome.
There will be moments of success.
All in all, I will be another step closer to my goals.

Was busy with Bun and house matters.

Things I'm Grateful for Today:
  • Bun waking up earlier than usual but didn't fuss until I was ready with his milk
  • Dearest for diligently doing the  necessary housework
  • Dearest for being proactive on settling the things for Bun's infant care

Day #1018 - Set Stretch Goals


At the moment now, even the daily goals I have set for myself is a bit of a stretch.
But perhaps like a physical stretch, the more I stretch myself, the easier it gets the next day.

- Being able to spend 1-on-1 time with Bun
- Dearest being able to go out and spend time with her loved ones
- Bun giving me the time to cook and eat my dinner while watching Korean drama

Day #1015 - Standing Alone


Often times I find myself standing alone in the path that I have chosen.
But at least now, I have the company of my Dearest and BunBun.

  • Complete the Spartan Virtual Challenge

Spent the evening brainstorming ideas with Dearest on how to continue her challenging journey of breastfeeding. 
Didn't have time afterwards to work on my goals, but it was an essential conversation for the family =)
And we found a workable solution!

Stupidly signed up for the Spartan Virtual Challenge, only to realize the submission date is tomorrow.
And after filming myself completing 3/4 set, and with the requirements to do 4 sets, I kinda gave up on the challenge.
Wasted almost $20. -_-

Things I'm Grateful for Today:
  • Prompt advice from a colleague on breastmilk storage information
  • Bun Bun for not fussing too much during the night feed
  • Coke from colleague

After consistently doing push-ups and sit-ups for nearly a week, I could slowly feel my body strength improving.

  • The newly set up gym in my company so I can get a quick workout during lunch hour
  • Dearest's understanding for my fatigue at the end of the day

It's good to push myself.
But I also know it's not good to push beyond my own limits by sacrificing my sleeping hours and my available energy.

  • Dearest's efforts in wanting to provide the best for Bun in term of IFC
  • A smooth presentation of two slides
  • Being able to see through another project, from the start to the end

Day #1006 - Past 1000 Days


It has passed 1000 days since I started trying to set daily goals for myself.
I didn't do it religiously every day, but at least I think fulfilled around 75% of the time?

So according to the quote, I should be considered a BEGINNER now at scheduling my life.
which I really feel I am.

So, it's time to become a master.

Goals of the Day:

  • Finish off the planning for the actionables for my new year resolutions and plan my weekly schedule according to it
  • Search for habit tracking/goals settings template for Trello

Things to be Grateful for Today:

  • Dearest reminding me gently about what is important in life (i.e. not gaming on my mobile phone)
  • Dearest taking care of the little one so that I could get some exercise done
