Day #97 - Packing day!

It's the weekend before the trip.
Time for the complete packing into my luggage!

Goals of the Day:

  1. Complete packing as much as possible right before the trip
    • Items out, not fully packed
  2. Prepare things that I can do on flight
    • Decided to rest on flight, but downloaded a video editing app
  3. Settle all administration needed for the trip
    • Done

    Woke up rather late this morning.
    Snoozed from 6am to 7am -_-"
    Managed to finish the book on Grit this morning! Marvelous reading!

    1. Proper handover of work tasks today

    2. Print out necessary documents for the trip

    3. Complete 50% of packing

    Feeling quite tired.

    Felt better after a good night of rest.

    1. Take out all the stuff that I need to bring for the trip for packing

    A little tired and reluctant to wake up this morning.
    But I still did.

    Somehow I felt like my body was too tired to do anything.
    I was almost falling asleep at work, with slight headache.
    Only felt a bit better when I got home, but still, was too tired to do anything much except for packing.

    Day #92 - Start of the Last Work Week

    Before I fly off to Aussie to enjoy my photoshoot and holidays.
    Before I book in to camp to serve my duties.
    This is the last week of work before a 3 weeks+ hiatus.

    1. To follow through on my planned schedule thoroughly

    2. Be focused and productive at work
      • ~70%
    3. Take out all the items needed for the trip

    Went out to fly my drone instead of doing personal work. haha..

    Day #86 - 2 weeks away from trip

    There are only limited number of work days left for me to do my work before I leave for the trip.
    It feels like there are a lot to do, but I'm not progressing much.
    It's rather worrying.
    And therefore, I will commit to making my holiday a worry-free one by completing what I need to do before I fly.

    Goals of the Day:

    1. Set out work tasks to accomplish before flying

    2. Read through the manual of Mavic Pro
      • Done
    3. 1 Lesson on App Dev Course
      • Done
    The 1 lesson on app dev course took me 1h+. 
    Haha.. Sometimes, it's better not to underestimate the time and effort to self-learn.

    • Did 1 lesson on App Dev!
    • Read through Mavic Pro manual to learn about the functions
    • Helped dad advertised online for getting relief taxi driver

    Day #83 - Weekend Badminton!

    It's the Quarterfinals today!
    Hopeful that we would go into the Semis. =)

    1. Play a good match 
      • Didn't get to compete because the team lost before my match. 
    2. Rest early

    Didn't manage to proceed into the semi-finals.
    But it gave me time to go collect my AHM race pack, meet Dearest, and went around places to buy my advance birthday present.. Mavic Pro! >_<

    Day #81 - I need more GRIT

    Was reading up on the book, GRIT.
    It was quite inspiring for me, as a reminder to myself that mastery could only comes with long periods of passion-driven activities and perseverance to go through with them.

    Goals of the Day

    1. Do my best at the game today to secure the 4th Victory in order for the team to advance into the Quarter Finals
      • We won!
    2.  Rest as early as I can once I get home from the game
      • Time check 2349HRS
    3. "Eat the frog" at work 
      • Didn't really have time to do any work due to meetings

    Day #80 - Fatigue from poor sleep

    Sleep was delayed because I couldnt fall asleep immediately last night.
    Woke up again at 4+am.
    Felt quite tired waking up this morning.

    Goals of the Day
    1. rest as early as possible tonight
      • Needs improvement
    2. secured a 3rd victory tonight
      • Walkover -_-
    3. archive my bank statements and financial accounting
      • No time
    It was quite late even though we had a walkover for the games.
    So didn't manage to do anything at home also.

    • Luck factor for the walkover for the badminton competition

    Day #79 - 1st Day of Badminton Competition

    First day of the Badminton competition; got 2 matches today after work.
    Luckily my backache seems to be gone. phew~
    But I better not push my body after I get home.

    Goals of the Day

    1. Rest early for the night
      • As early as I could after I got home from badminton (time check 2352 HRS now)
    2. 1 exercise of App Dev Course (I reckoned that this would be easier than yesterday's one; straightforward Java practices VS creating an app)
      • Not Done. (Got home too late)
    3. Do what I gotta do at work
      • Still okay
    Dearest came to support me for my 1st match! >_<
    And I won both the matches at the competition today.
    Woohoo~!
    But got home a bit too late to do anything else.
