My mind seemed to be filled with anxiety over the tasks undone today.
Yet I'm still not making full use of my time to do them.
Procrastination? 
Whatever it is, I'm fighting it.

Day #288 - Final Touches


This quote isn't that relating to today, but it sounds rather meaningful, and so I'm posting it.

Goals of the Day:

  • Ensure painting touch-ups are good and scan house for anything that needs rectification

  • Progress on wedding day schedule
    • Somewhat Achieved
Didn't really plan out what i wanted to do for the day, but as the day went ahead, I just went and do whatever that comes to mind.
E.g. putting charcoal in my cabinet to absorb the weird smell, going to starhub to sign our internet and home phone line, sweeping the floor, calling up our fengshui master for appt, making appt for haircut, hair dye, etc

Today's Small Wins:
  • Oversaw the paint touch-ups
  • Worked on wedding day schedule (but not as much as I wanted to)
  • Settled the new house's fibre broadband, phone line, and installation date
  • Settled other wedding stuff (haircut and hair dye, etc)
Today's Small Losses:
  • Got too relaxed at home and binge-watched Suits -_-"
  • Didn't sleep on time

Day #287 - Nearing the Completion of Renovation


Today's where all the renovation is completed (less painting touch-ups, defects checking and rectification)!

Stayed at the new house for a while to oversee all the works from morning till evening.
Although I'm on time-off from work, I'm still doing personal work. haha..
And it's worth it.

  • Managed to have an efficient day packed of things that I needed to do for renovation and wedding

  • Didn't manage to sleep on time

The day started as a chaotic scene in our new house because of all the contractors who came to fix up the remaining stuff.
Didnt manage to set goals today because was out since I woke up.

Managed to get most of the stuff out for the deliverable; still need to touch up and revise in the coming week.
Since today is the company's CNY celebration, I will just rest my mind a bit to recover.
Could feel the fatigue setting in heavily on me.
