It's gonna be another new year; a new start.
It seems that people tend to use events as a sign to say, "Let's start something".
It could be done any day, but because events happen, and it prompts them to do it than any other day.
Same goes for me.
Starting from next year, at the end of 2020, I hope I can say that I have achieved 'something'.
Goals of the Day:
- Schedule review of the day
- Achieved
- Finish off the tasks from yesterday (reading, wedding car review, wedding schedule review)
- Somewhat Achieved
- Preparations for tomorrow's picnic with friends
- Achieved
- Rest early for tomorrow's sunrise with Dearest
- Achieved
- Detailed goals setting for the new year
- Not Achieved
It was an unexpected long day at the new house, discovering that the cement screed was done wrongly and we have to get it rectified quickly, and spending over 1 hour discussing with Dearest on the various electrical points and lightings plan.
Today's Small Wins:
- Reading for 30 min
- Reviewed wedding car choices and contacted one shortlisted
- Bought and made preparations for the picnic tomorrow
- Rest early for tomorrow's sunrise with Dearest
- Had a fruitful and patient discussion with Dearest on the electrical works for our new house
- Quality time with Dearest
Today's Small Losses:
- Didn't manage to review the wedding schedule
- Didn't set detailed goals for the new year (have to get this done by next weekend)
